Amanda is fascinated by colour, shape and texture within nature which is reflected in her work. Using acrylic and mixed media she incorporates bright colours and textures into her paintings which lean toward the semi-abstract. Amanda will be inspired by a particular subject and explore it through a series of paintings, sometimes in different styles and media. Amanda has sold to private collections both home and abroad. She is a member of the Buckinghamshire Art Society, the Oxford Art Society, the National Acrylic Painters Association (NAPA) and the Visual Images Group. She exhibits regularly throughout Buckinghamshire and has exhibited in London with the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the ING Discerning Eye, and at the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery. She held a solo art exhibition at Claydon Estate Courtyard, 2018. She has also exhibited with the Oxford Art Society and in ‘The People’s Landscape exhibition’ at Claydon House.
