Sally Bassett

The essence of Sally’s work is its energy, vitality and colour. Work develops  from sketches and art notes made in a small sketchbook which Sally tries to have with her all the time. She uses her photographs for back up.

Sally’s landscape paintings follow the seasons of the year, from bluebell woods to meadows of  daisies and buttercups or  poppies, Autumn leaves or snow.

Her seascapes are inspired  by the wild seacoasts of the West Country and try to communicate the excitement  of the moment.

Sally is donating the full proceeds from 'Shimmering Beech Leaves, Bright Bluebells' AND 'Blue Glints, Orange Gold, Last Boat In' to the Chilterns MS Centre. Thank you, Sally!
